Carla to show up as source in apps?

Surely a basic one, but how does one get Carla's output to show up in apps as an audio source just like, say, a mic? Case in point, latest Firefox on Pipewire/Arch.

I ended up connecting Carla to the loopback virtual device and in my apps I select the loopback monitor. Maybe it is intended this way, that Carla does not show up as a virtual device at all.
