Dragging an input box breaks other input movement

then subsequest arrow presses will break
. Clicking directly on a comment will also break input movement.

This is a known issue.

I call that the "clicky draggy button" and its designed for mobile users. It bugs out like that and shouldn't be used on desktop. We either need to hide it on desktop, or fix it so it doesn't bug out and break basic site functionality.
