Share your ideas

{: #feedback-ideas-portal}

Many of the pages where you configure or use beta and newly available features contain a Send us feedback link. Click the link to open a simple feedback form. You can share your opinion and submit it to the product team for consideration. We appreciate your insights and suggestions.

To share ideas or suggest new features for the {{site.data.keyword.conversationfull}} service, go to the IBM Data and AI Ideas Portal{: external}.

Participate in the early access program

{: #feedback-beta}

Want to stay informed about new features that will be added to the product? Want to share your feedback about the feature function and direction? Join the early access program!

To request participation in the program, you must first create a new {{site.data.keyword.conversationshort}} service instance that you will dedicate to new feature evaluation purposes only.

Do not add an existing instance that you are using to do any real work to the early access program. {: important}

  1. Create a {{site.data.keyword.conversationshort}} service resource from the {{site.data.keyword.conversationshort}}{: external} page in the {{site.data.keyword.cloud}} catalog.

    The service instance can be part of a free (Lite) plan, and must be deployed to the Dallas location.

    Unless you change it, the service instance will be created in the default resource group, which is sufficient for the purposes of new feature evaluation.

  2. After the instance is created, click Launch {{site.data.keyword.conversationshort}} to open {{site.data.keyword.conversationshort}}.

  3. Click the User User icon in the page header, and then choose Request early access.

    You won't see this option unless your service instance is part of a Lite plan that is hosted in the US South data center.

  4. Confirm that you accept the terms and conditions for participating in the program. (The early access program is referred to as beta by IBM Cloud.)

    If you are approved for participation in the early access program, it is the service instance that you request program access from that is upgraded to include new features.

  5. After you get a chance to try out the new features, let us know what you think.
