hello, we are in the situation we were 3 months ago because the beta expired and the app store version has a whole lot of problems being one of the first versions. If updating it is a problem, could instructions on how to compile and install the project with xcode on an iphone be provided? Thanks!

@djphoenix Would you please either update eSpeak-NG on the App Store or provide a new beta release? My installed beta just expired and it no longer functions.

I don't think the rolling beta is a good idea, because the app store problem would remain. Also I don't think the new commits here are frequent enough for a beta to not expire anyway, and I think that's completely okay because this doesn't need that much work overall. But the big problem now is that when a beta expires people are forced to switch back to an ios synth due to enormous bugs that where in the very first version that was never updated, but for me it was extremely difficult because espeak on iphone has really been a game changer. So if the espeak version was at least updated to an usable spot I think it would be somewhat sufficient.

if anyone somewhat familiar to xcode can figure out the missing compile process and document it in an issue here it would be great as we could at least put up a guide for motivated people to follow. I am very unfamiliar with the platform and spent at least 4 ours on it, but it all went over my head and VO wasn't helping at all😂.

Ah, I was missed a timings again... of course there will be next build. I think about release independent of upstream since espeak-ng release takes longer time than expected.

That's great to hear! Since the ios driver seems to be pretty stable, are you planning to publish the next build directly on the store? That way we wont have the 90 day issue and it could be accessible to more people. Also, what do you think about the compile instuctions issue I mentioned earlyer?

Hello, do you have any further updates on this?

@djphoenix Same question as @albluc24 - will we have at least a beta soon? I really don't want to return to the App Store release with its bugs and issues. Thanks.
