See Cargo.toml includes all common metadata (C-METADATA), esp-hal is currently missing:

  • authors
  • keywords
  • category
  • homepage (optional)

As stated elsewhere (just to include it in the conversation here), authors is no longer displayed on crates.io and given that we have 100+ contributors, it is not a meaningful or particularly useful field IMO.
