Describe the bug

I have been trying to use loaded URLs to directly load project pages, rather than the default CMIP6 project. An example of this is https://aims2.llnl.gov/search?project=input4MIPs. Unfortunately, this URL does not seem to resolve the project specifically, with default pages loading rather than the target project, see screenshot below:

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: macOS 13.6.7
  • Browser and Version: Firefox 115.11.0esr

To Reproduce

  1. Go to https://aims2.llnl.gov/search?project=input4MIPs
  2. View page and see "CMIP6" project is selected

Expected behavior

I would expect the target project would be loaded e.g., input4MIPs, obs4MIPs, CMIP5, CMIP3, etc

https://aims2.llnl.gov/search/input4mips/ carries over from the CoG behavior. the problem with "project" is that it is also a search facet under cmip5 as there were several sub-projects that were tagged as "project"

Is there a way around this - the "project=input4MIPs" along with the direct https://aims2.llnl.gov/search/input4mips/ both seem to resolve the CMIP6 project by default in firefox
