How about adding a parameter "shape" to the oid-code command that let's the user deicde if the code image will be a square, rectangle or a circle?

I often often mask oid-codes in Photoshop as circles, because I think they look nicer than squares :-)

It’s possible, but then where to stop? How about triangles, ovals, dogs? :-)

Maybe instead we should document better how to use the codes as fill patterns in Photoshop, then you can use any kind of shape tool from Photoshop, and any size. Unfortunately, I don’t use photoshop myself, so someone else would have to figure that out.

Maybe https://www.lifewire.com/use-a-pattern-fill-in-photoshop-1700226 helps?

Good point. Dogs might look ever better than circles ;-)

I think circles would the most helpful shape. Maybe we should ask the mailing list users ;-)

PS Thanks for the photoshop link
