Very good video that breaks down the concept of SADs and how it effects the theory of metrics of Biodiversity and what it means in the concepts of the research.
-The abundance value of a species within a probability mass function can be manipulated by both genetic and environmental factors of an environment, which the presenter supports while explaining the probability mass function.
The abundance value affects the cumulative density function and the probability mass function and are presented empirically. Is there a reason why it's displayed empirically rather than any other form?
The end was very informative showing how the concepts of eugenics have influenced how statistics is approached. Have any efforts been made to stir away from utilizing eugenics as a foundation towards how to implement statistics?
