On ArchLinux, kdialog isn't installed by default, and it is the only (?) dependency which will silently fail if not installed. I think it should be mentionned in the README

Note: maybe in addition to using echo to handle kdialog being missing, you could also use notify-send ? This command seems to be present on a lot of systems
