Display Explorer View contextual menu with right click #4341
Comments
Hi 👋 I may be able to give a look into this. Also when googling about custom right-click context menu a lot of concerns arise on forums about how it can badly impact user experience. So what is your take about this? Do you want to let the user be able to also display the default menu? if yes how in terms of UI? References: |
Hello @ctmbl, Thank your for your interest in this issue and the information provided. Many users want this new behavior and after many discussions with the team, we agreed that it is best to display the context menu with the right-click instead of the left-click. We will add an entry in the changelog to document and warn about that change. Regards, |

Expected behavior
When the user launch right click, the browser menu should not be always displayed. It will be useful to display the Sirius Web contextual menu.
For example, from the tree explorer view, it will be useful if the user can right-click on an element to display the Sirius Web contextual menu without needing to find the small dots button.
