Reproduction scenario:

  • Create a model file with 2 root elements. Although it is not feasible with the editors generated by default by EMF, it can be achieved by editing with a text editor an existing model serialized in XMI, and inserting a root "xmi:XMI" element that contains the "root" model elements.
  • Make a copy with the two "root" model elements swapped.
  • Compare the two files: no order difference is detected.
