model fitting times out running notebook in myBinder

Notebooks loads, and runs, but get to 'Fitting Model to...' part, the process ran for ~10 hours then timed out, on the XGBoost model, so never got past model fitting with the test data (https://deep-earth.s3.amazonaws.com/datasets/earthcube2021_demo/forest-cover-type-prediction.zip). Is there some way to test for model fitting that takes > say 2 hrs and skipping a model in the ensemble?
