This issue was moved to sandstormports/wordpress-sandstorm#22 |
Hello, i was checking this to find solution for my WordPress site migration and issue that I have encountered on my website, dreamingaboutpoop.com. I have been attempting to migrate my WordPress website from one server to another, and unfortunately, I have encountered several challenges during the process. The migration process seems to be causing disruptions to the functionality and appearance of dreamingaboutpoop.com. Details of the Issue: Content Discrepancies: After the migration, I noticed discrepancies in the content layout, formatting, and images on various pages and posts. Broken Links: Some internal and external links appear to be broken after the migration, leading to a less-than-optimal user experience. Theme and Plugin Compatibility: The migration process seems to have affected the compatibility of my theme and plugins, resulting in unexpected errors and conflicts. Media Library Issues: Images and other media files are not displaying correctly, and some seem to be missing entirely from the media library. Steps Taken: I have attempted the migration using various methods, including manual migration and migration plugins, but the issues persist. I have also ensured that both the source and destination servers meet the recommended WordPress requirements. I kindly request you to look at my issue and tell me proper solution thanks, my head is burning haha, WordPress Version: 5.6 I am open to any suggestions, code snippets, or step-by-step instructions that could help me overcome these migration challenges and ensure a smooth transition for dreamingaboutpoop.com. please help me to sort out this issue if you find any solution, thanks |
@Olivia-davis11 Does your question refer to Sandstorm servers or other WordPress deployments? |
Closing, because this repo is no longer maintained. |
I am using a plugin (All in One WP Migration) to migrate an existing WordPress site to sandstorm.
When I try to import the created file which is around 300MB, the plugin just hangs at 0%.
This is not a plugin issue since it is working on other WP installation.
Is this a Sandstorm limitation?
