Progress update: no progress
Reason: It won't fit on most cheap routers. Re-writing it in c wouldn't fix much because most of the weight comes from the model. I could re-train on a smaller one but then the accuracy would suffer greatly.

Static binary built against NDK would be easy-ish, this way you could run it with something like Tasker (not sure if usable without root). A dedicated app would definitely be better though, but then I have to deal with the horrors of certain manufacturers that decide to kill background apps so that their own bloat can run instead and blame "battery life" as the reason. And before anybody asks, there will be no IOS app, no matter what.
