Creating tables from a spatial file with multiple layers?

Many spatial formats allow for multiple layers, am thinking GeoPackage, GML etc. I see in the docs you can specify a specific layer name using 'layer=' but what happens if you don't know the layers and you want DuckDB to create or read from all of them into separate tables?

Is this possible?
