Hi, I am also facing the same problem with missing SPs and Views in provided script which I mentioned in my earlier message. But someone must have the complete script. For example, issue #221- I could not access the page in question due to missing SP but this user could, which suggests he probably has a better script if not complete. |
Hi, thank you for your reply, I was able to reconstruct much of the SP, and I made the correction to the design issue mentioned, however I am still missing code as I am unable to add users to be members of projects or delete users. There seems to be issues with the guid userID loosing its value and becoming empty which in turn causes an out of range exception error. This is really disappointing that Davin Dubeau would do such a great job on this project and then not put a working build out. I must confess that it confounds me. |
Good to know that you are already able to reconstruct most of them! Can I be some kind of help regarding User Id issue? |
Thank you so much for the offer. I was able to find the userID bug and correct the code so that all of the admin user functions now work , However I can not get the members and roles to work. In admin and working members I can see the users that are in the system I can move them with the transfer to project arrow key, the problem is that the user I transfer do not persist, they go back to the user side as soon as you refresh the page or leave the page or select another option. In addition the users transferred never are available in the Roles setup drop down and work area just below where the users are transferred. If you can help with that I think I will have everything working correctly. Let me say that even should you not be able to help, Ido appreciate you very much for replying and trying to assist. I have always had great admiration and respect for those that try to help others and this is one of those times, Thank you |
Thanks so much for your words of encouragement! It would be very satisfying for me if I can contribute to this project. The problem is I am leaving on Thursday for a Christmas holiday trip and will return on Jan. 01. Once I return I will get in touch with you again. In case there is anything still left where you think I might be helpful please let me know. |
Understood, I would enjoy future collaboration on any issue like this. Concerning this project, we are integrating parts of this project into a larger work of ours and I would like to know I could call on you again when you are available. Thanks again, have a great Christmas Holiday trip and be safe. |
It would be my pleasure to be a part of this project, Please feel free to contact me any time whenever you think. Have a great Christmas. :) |
Very good Subrata, I look forward to a collaboration, wishing you a merry Christmas as well. I hope to talk again soon , be safe |
Due to this being 2 years old.. and running into this problem in the first couple hours and reading all the comments here.. I'm giving up on this project. This project should have been managed better and tested. |
