Thinking about both #9 and #19, how do we recommend collecting information about attendees in a way that's not objectifying, reductionist or exclusionary? To be sure, events need attendee data in order to measure progress from event to event, but we don't want to exclude folks in the collection process.

In my experience with hackathons, one great way to get people to fill out a event survey (usually a google form) was by offering some kind of incentives (i.e AWS credits). I'm not sure what the equivalent would be at a Drupal camp though..
