In this particular sentence it refers to us being able to classify more points as ground and ultimately incorporating a higher amount of detail in our DTM.

Rephrase:

'We are now able to to derive CHM’s from unclassified point clouds which removes vendor quality limitations (ground point filtering) and PDAL pipelines can be ingested readily into our AWS infrastructure.'

I hear you, we kinda settled on the vendor terminology in previous chat's with VP - not the best term for it.

How about:
We are now able to to derive CHM’s from unclassified point clouds which removes reliance/dependencies on external workflows (ground point filtering by OpenTopography) and PDAL pipelines can be ingested readily into our AWS infrastructure.'
