Puzzle Progress Vanishes in the evening

I've run into an odd issue. For some reason, when I open a puzzle in the evening, my progress seems to vanish. The saved progress seems to return the next morning. (Although, when opening a puzzle, it shows "redirecting to ..." and then loads the correct frame rather than opening straight as I'd expect.) It appears what's actually going on is that in the evenings it creates a new session every time I open a puzzle and then the next morning it realizes its mistake. (The only thing I can think of is that it's a timezone issue? I'm in Eastern (American) time so it could be occurring when the day in UTC is different from the day where I'm playing.) Happy to try to provide any possible evidence that would be useful for tracking down the bug.
