Textcolor not changing in UWP

Description Unable to change Textcolor property in PCL UWP app

Steps to Reproduce

1. Change textcolor property to non black color

Expected Behavior Color of text changes to different color

Actual Behavior No change of color

Is there a workaround all any chance of having this feature working.?

Figure out which theme resource is used for that color for the platform auto suggest box and override it globally in app.xaml for the uwp project head
