Hi Currently running comparisons between Band 2012 and the sCRM. I'm finding a large difference for option 2 collision estimates which I believe to be due to discrepancy between flight height data for the two models. I've tried to work around this by uploading flight height data using the downloaded template but when I run the simulation I keep getting server disconnection just before the results should be loaded.

For reference for the Band 2012 model I'm using Johson et al 2014 flight heights in 1m bands up to 300m downloaded from the BTO website.

Hi,
Two diagnosis questions:

  • At which point exactly does the app disconnects? When uploading the data? After simulation starts? At the end of simulation?
  • Does the uploaded FHD dataset follows exactly the template's format (i.e. column names, number of rows, etc)? From a recent change, FHD distributions must now be provided up to 500m (i.e. to row 501). So for the BTO data, the dataset needs to be padded out with 0s from rows 301 to 501, across all boot_x columns.

Just realized that the pop-up information balloon needs to be updated with the extension to 500m... sorry for the misleading information! Hopefully this fixes the issue.

Hi Bruno,

It was disconnecting at the end of the simualtion. I've reran with the FHD dataset up to 500m and this has now sorted the issue thank you fr your quick response.

On another note I was having to upload FHD data for Gannet as I was getting a large discrepancy between the Band 2012 model using the standard Johnson flight data and what the collision estimates were for the sCRM. When I uploaded the Johnson flight data to the sCRM I've managed to get both the sCRM and Band2012 estimates to match.
