Сейчас сделано через наследование от модели User и в БД получаем две таблицы. Еще проблемы с уникальным полем email, и скопированы миграции для приложения auth с небольшим патчем.

Необходимо наследоваться от AbstractUser, чтобы была одна таблица в БД, и не дублировать миграции приложения auth.

И поправить настройку AUTH_USER_MODEL.
