Upgrade React Native to v73.5 and Expo to v50.0.8

To Do (Pre-requirements)

  • Upgrade node to 20
  • change '.nvmrc' file to reflect node upgrade

To do (For Android):

  • Update target to Android 14 (SDK 34)
  • Update Android build and SDK tools 34
  • Update Android NDK 25.1.8937393
  • Updates Gradle to 8
    ** New version of java will be required
    *** follow the steps outlined in React Native Upgrade Helper

To do (For Expo):

  • Uninstall react-native-unimodules
  • Remove react-native-unimodules from android files
  • install expo and configure
  • Install/upgrade expo-modules to @latest. Refactor any code with breaking changes

Expo modules to be upgraded

  • expo-barcode-scanner
  • expo-camera
  • expo-document-picker
  • expo-linear-gradient
  • expo-localization
  • expo-location
  • expo-sensors

Node Versioning for e2e tests
