[Bug] 'an unexpected error' during the default currency selector #37

🐛 Bug

The current UI build shows 'an unexpected error' during the initial setup flow when you get to the currency selector; perhaps the system is failing after attempting a D.O.B lookup? I ask since the only hit I get on the string 'error' in the logs points out I did not enter a valid, formatted date during registration

To reproduce

  1. enter an invalid (poorly formatted (ie, "1/1/2002") D.O.B during initial registration
  2. when you get to the currency selection page, note red error on screen stating 'an unexpected error'
