I was linked here from the author's gist GIF-Screencast-OSX.md.

Compared to ffmpeg, which takes under 2 min for my video, this screengif is taking several times longer. Stuck at the quantization stage.

How is this screengif more optimized than the ffmpeg approach? I noticed with the latter, there was noticeable dithering in area of the UI that had solid colors. I'm hoping the screengif is more optimized for solid color UIs
