Question: Using as wrapper for plugin process

Hi.
I am using WP All Import to import a very large xml file. Invariably, the import process gets gets killed by the Long Process Killer at the hosting envirnment
Can wp-background-processing be used to wrap the plugin process, to avoid the LPK?
