Using ElasticsearchEmbeddingRetriever existing ES index

Should i migrate my existing index with data to index that is automacally created with ElasticsearchDocumentStore ? (i assume it is better optimized for lookup ?).And if i need to do that, is there any tool or function that Haystack provides for this kind of thing or i need manually to copy index data to another index that haystack would use for retriever ?

Hi @Aleksa1996,

Your index needs to match the schema defined in Haystack - so you need to create one using ElasticsearchDocumentStore.
