Looking at MGD_GRCm38-C57BL6J_public.json

My understanding is the DATS JSON-Schemas are defined here: https://github.com/biocaddie/WG3-MetadataSpecifications/tree/master/json-schemas

Is the intention that each json file uses some mix of schemas, or a single one?

I'm guessing the MGI file uses this one:

https://github.com/biocaddie/WG3-MetadataSpecifications/blob/master/json-schemas/molecular_entity_schema.json

The DATS JSON schemas are now in this new organization/repository: http://github.com/datatagsuite/schema (and also accessible through the w3id.org service, e.g. http://w3id.org/dats/schema/dataset_schema.json )

Related to MGD_GRCm38-C57BL6J_public.json is represented as a Dataset and thus it can be validated against the dataset_schema (http://w3id.org/dats/schema/dataset_schema.json), which in turns refers to other schemas, including molecular entities.

Thanks! Would it make sense to include a field in the json that points to the schema?
