How can I read the password from PGPASSWORD when using a connection string?

I would like pgcli to read the password from PGPASSWORD env when using a connection string.

I have the following alias-dsn:

myCluster = 'postgresql://postgres@db-cluster:5432/mydb'

And when I run pgcli:

export PGPASSWORD=myPassword
pgcli -D myCluster

It still prompts for a password.
