Multiselect for deleting appointments

Issue:
I have created a schedule for my work hours that repeats every week from Monday to Friday. Now I want to exclude the next week because I will be on vacation. Right now there are two ways to accomplish this task:
1). I delete each appointment individually. To do this, I first have to select the appointment, then press Delete and confirm the whole thing.
2). Or I set a deadline in the appointment and create a new appointment after my vacation.

Both methods are tedious, especially if we have not one, but several appointments or the period extends over several weeks.

Solution:
It should be possible to select or delete multiple appointments at the same time. Maybe long press on mobile activates multiselect and on desktop Ctrl + left mouse button for multiselect.
