When specifying page number, error Page does not exist is shown.
This happens for any page number, even 1.
This does not happen for every document.
This does happen for every document with a certain set of properties.
Inkscape and GNOME Document Viewer are able to open these documents without any problem.

Due to licensing issues, I am unable to provide you with the documents at this moment.
Due to LaTeX being used with the MiKTeX compiler, I assume the error is still reproducible with arbitrary documents. I have not been able to find an online compiler supporting MiKTeX, unfortunately
Workaround
As already mentioned, Inkscape can handle these documents:
But because Inkscape fails with other documents (not converting background colors or text colors correctly), I will still keep using pdf2svg for the rest of the documents for the time being.
