I am awaiting on a request to receive a Bluetooth module from Ergomotion. I believe it will work with my Beautyrest Smart Motion 3.0 base since they are both made by Ergo and are pretty much the same base(the manuals are identical). The only difference is the Motion Perfect III comes with a Bluetooth module and is connected to the emergency power off module(via DIN) which both of our bases included.
I have a Pi and am ready to jump into this but wanted to make sure it still functions. Any hitches? I am happy to be a ginnie pig on this project and to confirm it will also work with other bases by Ergo.
By the way, thank you so much for developing this. It's so awesome and kudos for being innovate where manufacturers themselves fall short.

It may not work exactly as is but the instructions are excellent if you’re sufficiently technical. I was able to follow them and now have my Okin bed connected to Alexa.
The one change I made was to only use AWS IoT MQTT instead of IoT shadows. The reason is that my bed itself doesn’t have any state, so trying to fake a shadow state can actually make things stop working.
