The DAKbaord development team has been informed by Google of changes impacting our defined scopes for the google drive photos integration in use at this time. This may impact users abilities to add or authorize Google Drive photo sources.

Google has changed requirements associated with using the API_DRIVE_READONLY scope, and is requesting that the DAKboard team use a new API_DRIVE_FILE scope in replacement. After a review has been conducted, the replacement scope cannot function adequately for DAKboard to display photos for clients, and permits more access to the Google Drive instance that DAKboard feels is necessary.

This case will be updated with milestones in the effort to update or discontinue Google Drive integration for photo use in DAKboard.
