I, @crccheck, don't use graphite these days. So I don't have the personal need to maintain this project anymore.

Ideas:

  • move this to a possibly new organization
  • add more people to the pypi project
  • add more people with push access

There are some basic levels of code quality I would like this project to meet that I would have put in (PR checks, contributers.md, code coverage, github templates) but I haven't had the time to do it yet.

If anyone is curious, I've been using Prometheus + Grafana.

As long as someone reviews my PRs before merge I'd be happy to even do the pypi work. I think I'm reaching the feature end that I need for work.

Krux is planning on at least moderate use of cloudwatch-to-graphite for the foreseeable future and we would be happy to host it from our organization. I don't know the mechanics pushing to pypi off the top of my head, some help tuning that would be appreciated.

I will help. Let me know how I can help and maintain this project.

Thanks. I already gave you push access, @paul-krohn and I can get you push access to PyPI too.

@mkohn After you author a few pull requests, I can give you push access as well.
