I noticed this is no longer on the WordPress plugins site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-content-type-manager/

Considering it's been 2 years since any code has been pushed and it's not really clear if the security issues have been properly fixed...I guess this is a dead project

Certainly looks dead to me.

If anyone is interested, I've got a quick and dirty plugin for generating native WordPress post type code and CMB2 metaboxes from an active CCTM setup. Useful for moving away from CCTM.
