Hi all,
I am running into an issue with the deisotoping step of MaxQuant. Up to this point, everything works smoothly, but the program sits at 1000k/4000k and will continue to sit there for up to 48 hours before crashing. I have tried loading 1 split file, multiple split files, but each file is around 600-900MB. I tried loading from a different dataset a file that was 400MB and it worked, so it could be a data complexity issue or maybe files are corrupt? The dataset I am using is from https://www.ebi.ac.uk/pride/archive/projects/PXD004312. I am wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and if there are any workarounds or settings I could change that would help. I am running the software on a 16GB RAM with 10 cores.
Thank you!
