Currently, the ' Configuration files' section under 'Installation' (find it here) does not reference user local config files living under $HOME/.config/containers/. Is there a reason to omit these user local ones?
As a user new to podman I followed allong the installation guide. After finishing the installation, I (tried to) set up some unqualified-search-registries. Reading the above section, I got tempted to edit the host global config files (which I feel is not exactly what a new user should do?). Only later I found out that there also are user local ones as described in the docs.
