What is the idea?

Add support to Nusheel for conda activate in conda init.

Few of the most amazing shell gets this privilege, Nushell is another new kid and would like to have this privilege shared.

Currently supported shells are:

  • bash
  • fish
  • tcsh
  • xonsh
  • zsh
  • powershell

Why is this needed?

The nu_scripts/nu_conda.nu works a little too slow IMO.

What should happen?

The conda activate should happen without any requirement to add .nu scripts and should happen in a pretty responsive/robust way as it happens on other shells.

@adhadse Thanks for raising this. We've been contemplating for a while on how to better support the shells currently supported by conda in addition to new shells. I've started to group relevant issues into this epic #12451
