As mentioned in gazebosim/gazebo-classic#2899 (comment), what happens if you:

  • Run gazebo --verbose
  • Try to first run gzserver --verbose in a terminal and gzclient --verbose in another

Furthermore, could you please provide a more informative issue name, for example "Gazebo does not start on Windows 8"? Thanks!
