I'm currently running a conversation over 2 weeks, and we're 1 week into it - going great so far, heaps of fun and super interesting! Really appreciate the opportunity to work with what you've all built.
We hadn't been planning to share the automatic report with participants until after the conversation ends - mostly to minimise risk of information overload, and also to ensure we could provide any necessary context/interpretation when we did share the report. I thought I'd seen this advised somewhere on here of the CompDem site but now I can't recall where exactly, and I'm second guessing the decision.
One reason I've been reconsidering is that I've received feedback that some people would like to be able to see a list of all of the statements that are currently approved, so that they can look over them again once they've finished voting to help refresh their memory when considering submitting a new statement. (Side note: a few people have also raised wanting to be able to revise their responses to statements, so I was interested to read this discussion: #913)
Short of sharing the whole report, I figure another option is that I could manually create a webpage with a simple list of all current comments, which people could click through to if they wanted. But before I do that, I wanted to check if there might be any unintended consequences/any reasons why this isn't on option that's already built in.
I'd love to hear what the current thinking is about:
A) the pros and cons of sharing the full report during the conversation, and
B) how the option of instead just sharing a simple list of current approved comments might compare.
If I'm going to make either of these options available, I'd probably need to do it within the next day or so to avoid making the change too close to the end of the conversation.
