We are running Cockpit as a Postman container on RHEL 9.4. We found some issues with the Accounts tab. In the example below I am logged as user "test4" but the UI still shows "Never logged in",even after switching between users, and restarting cockpit- it still shows "Never logged in". As you see it still shows the user optimax as "Logged in" even though this user is not logged in at the moment.
Important that when we log in via SSH or TTY then the account page reflects the actual changes. Above we loged in using the UI.
Go to the "Accounts" page.
Click "Create new account" and fill in the needed fields.
Log out the current user and log in with the newly created user.
Go again to the "Accounts" page.
Check the column "Last active".
Try to log in several times with different users to see that the column is not updating.
Try to log in with the same credentials via SSH or TTY and see that the column is updated (optional).
