Open mind trains the model in place when its provided. This means every single time user gives an example image, it instantly passes it down to the model and trains it. So by the time user has given all the image examples and hits submit, it shows the result instantly without any waiting time.
This approach takes away some flexibility and it also might lag the browser a little bit when users trying to add example images. But the lagging time is significantly low compared to Google's Teachable Machine's submit time.
