Hopefully, @quoll will give you further (and/or better) recommendations about Asami, but some things that came to mind:

  • could add issue to transaction functions
  • Planned transact time support for schemas issue
  • The fact that Asami can store arrays can be significant
  • "Asami allows any datatype to be used as attributes."
  • "Asami graphs are valid Loom graphs via Asami-Loom"
  • "Pluggable Storage: Like Datomic, storage in Asami can be implemented in multiple ways. There are currently 2 in-memory graph systems, and durable storage available on the JVM." Afaik, only memory mapped files are available currently, but the plan is to support RDBMS systems, etc. I think this distinguishes Asami from Datalevin and Datahike?

Not sure how you could fit some of these in the table. Also, would feel more comfortable if @quoll looked them over – some of these could've been mentioned in #5, but were not.

This is a great list to start with. Thanks @zeitstein! I agree with waiting for @quoll who, last I checked, was busy saving neighbours by cooking for them while heat, water, and electricity were out everywhere.
