Numerical text field validation issue

A model with

        threshold: {
          type: 'number',
          minimum: 0,
          maximum: 1
        }

correctly errors on negative numbers or numbers greater than 1, but shows no error for values like 2-10-0 or 2-.
Validation error is needed for NaN values.
