Incompatible version error (deb and AppImage)

Describe the Bug

I update the cider client using deb and give me this error

I read in a itch.io post that I could use the AppImage version to solve this issue, but I still have the issue

Steps to Reproduce

1. Update the cider package
2. Update to the latest stable release

The build info you have provided is not the latest build. The current release on itch and taproom are 2.6.0 and are shipped with patch 5 (it will still say there is an update, ignore it, the next patch will have the amended version so it will let you update).
