After uploading the CSV, I get the page

with all 20 or so teams and speaker names listed. But after clicking 'Make it so!', the following page only lists the first team:

The speaker names are also not set.

1 Import page: https://www.tabbie.org/[tournament-name]/team/import

2 Team list page: https://www.tabbie.org/icyd-cambridge-regional-/team/

Thanks!

Oh I think this is because the people mentioned don't have Tabbie accounts. Was trying to do this for a schools tournament.

Update: Still didn't work with names 'Speaker A' and 'Speaker B' which are names of entities with proper Tabbie accounts.

Hi Jessica,
As a developer: If you are importing the teams, they need to be given different names, or this will not work properly - team names and speakers are unique to a tournament. You won't be able to do this.

As a tabber: If you are uploading the csv just to edit the team names anyway, why are you importing them at all?

Thanks Richard!

So is it possible to import teams for speakers that don't have Tabbie accounts? It didn't work (1) using blank speaker names or (2) using unique names of people without Tabbie accounts.

As a tabber: Not planning to edit the team names, just added the row 'Team Name, Speaker 1, Speaker 2' etc so the speakers' names would remain confidential.

The example you have given in (2) should work just fine - I've used it a number of times. However, you will have to specify email addresses (you can make them up if you need to, they don't have to be valid) for the participants.
