[Rotary Encoders] Line feed doesnt work in custom label #302
Comments
Same here! I thought I was going mad. It only does this on the rotary dials, the keys seem to be working fine |
Please don't go mad :D |
I giggled. It's OK. As long as I know it's something it's known and (maybe) worked upon, I can wait. Maybe in the meantime try and redo my setup with the new restrictions. About that, it's offtopic but is there a way to use the rotary encoders to switch HVAC modes with them? I have done something similar with the temperature mode in the JSON field but can't seem to wrap around this one. The service is hvac_mode and I would like to toggle between them with the encoders. Sorry to post this here but if I can make this work, the multiline is not an issue for me anymore as it would just present the mode and use a classic button above for the rest of the info I need Edit: I have managed to do so with the action wheel and distinct keypad actions for each hvac mode |
Also glad to know this is known and (maybe) worked upon. Is there any way to be notified if this is added? Is the best way to just keep an eye on the StreamDeck plugin version history? |
Since an update the line feed doenst work in custom labels of the generic Entity.
I used 2 or 3 lines but atm its only displaying one long line on stream deck plus dial
