I have been getting familiar with the HeatExchangerWater model located in ThermoPower/Examples/HRB/Models for the past few weeks. The model I am using to test the HeatExchanger is running properly, but I am not able to get the heat transfer desired. I was wondering if you could give more explanation about each of the input variables (Nr, Nt, L, etc.)? Also, I could not find any examples in ThermoPower that use this heat exchanger. Do you know where I can find an example model?
I will include an image of the set up I am using to test the HeatExchanger in case I am doing something wrong with that regard. The cool side runs from top to bottom, and the warm side right to left. I also had to set the FFtype = NoFriction because I could not get the model to run otherwise.
Thank you for your time,
Seth Dana
