Couldn't connect to Docker daemon #4

To try sample source readme suggest to use docker-compose -f docker/common/docker-compose.yml up. but it only gives error "Couldn't connect to Docker daemon"
How to fix this?
Is there a way to run sample code without docker?

@saurabh0683 The apps are Spring boot. You can run them all with:

 mvn spring-boot:run
