This is the roadmap for the IBM.com Library, based on our planned design and development path. It is a list of our priorities in various broad initiative areas.

This roadmap is not a delivery commitment and is subject to change based on changing business needs and/or user testing/feedback.

High level overview of features in each quarter of the year

Q1

  • Masthead, Footer and Locale Selector Components in React and Vanilla
  • Patterns to build the new Learn template defined by ibm.com Reboot

Q2

  • Video player function that supports Kaltura, the new video standard to be used in place of YouTube
  • Lightbox viewer function supports ability to zoom in on an image and multiple image viewing
  • Patterns to build the new Solutions and Services template defined by ibm.com Reboot
  • Right to left (RTL) support for Arabic language
  • Mega menu research to study best implementation approach

Q3

  • Publish IBM Style Model and provide governance around usage
  • Mega menu design and development
  • Expressive theme enabled which allows larger typography, spacing and padding for essential components
  • Locale change banner which detects if user is in different geo than their preferences and prompts to return to local site.

Q4

  • Patterns to build the Product page template
